Welcome First Steps Community Playgroup has played a prominent role in nurturing the children within Exeter since it was first established over 40 years ago. Our first setting was based in St James39 Church Hall and due to the expansion of enrolment of our children we moved to our new site in 1999 where we are able to grow and extend our service hours. In 2002 we moved to our present site and in 2007 was able to offer lunch and breakfast facilities which is a very successful addition to our child care. In 2023 we fundraised for 12 years for a replacement building on our current site.
