Buckhorn Weston Village Community Trust | Registered Charity 1032088
In 1993, 3 parish councillors set up The Trust. It bought land immediately next to the village hall. It is held in perpetuity as a quiet recreation area for the people of Buckhorn Weston of all ages. Later the district council sold the council houses. Some proceeds were used for one-off windfall grants. We built play, picnic and ballgame areas on this land (with additions, now about 1 1/2 acres).

Nicks back home from his NorthtoSouth walk. Saturday afternoon 10 June 2023 Nick is now safely back home in BW having walked about 530 miles overcoming many obstacles and managed to get just south of Chicklade on the A303.
