KIRKLEES COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION Kirklees Community Association is a registered charity and limited company managed by a board of up to 16 volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of skills and interests Working closely with both the private and public sectors as each project requires KCA offers a notforprofit social enterprise vehicle for achieving a variety of aims including social gain for the Kirklees area. The way KCA is set up allows it to undertake a wide range of regeneration or community based work. To date it has concentrated almost solely on the provision of affordable housing. The boards objective is to contribute to regeneration activity to add value or meet a gap in provision that the Council would not otherwise be able to meet itself.
