Wallasey Historical Society Founded 1969 Charity Number 1047762 Wallasey Historical Society Founded 1969 Introduction Wallasey Historical Society was founded in 1969 by Mr Eric Irving who was at that time Chief Librarian of Wallasey. Its aims are to stimulate and encourage the study of the history of Wallasey and District by means of discussions lectures and research. Meetings are held at 7. 30 pm on the second Thursday of each month from September to April at Wallasey Central Library Earlston Road Wallasey CH45 5DX.
