What is even more astonishing considering the complexities of the work is the fact that the Westminster Philharmonic is a nonprofessional orchestra. Welcome. The WPO is one of Londons leading amateur orchestras playing the biggest and most demanding works of the last 150 years The WPO is once again starting a new season featuring some of the greatest works of the 19th and 20th century repertoire for large orchestra. In March we performed a rarity Arthur Bliss Colour Symphony and then we will be performing Bruckners Symphony No.
