The Societe FrancoBritannique De Cardiff was founded in 1906 with the object of the promotion of friendly relations and mutual understanding between the peoples of France and Great Britain primarily by encouraging the study of the French language and culture. Today it continues to uphold this aim with a programme of lectures social events and visits. Throughout its existence the Society has been affiliated to the Alliance Franaise.
