Friends of All Saints – Kingston Seymour Community Church Fund
The Friends of All Saints – Kingston Seymour Community Church Fund (charity number 1056781) is a UK nonprofit organisation established to support the maintenance and preservation of All Saints’ Church in Kingston Seymour, North Somerset. The group raises funds through community events and grants to finance structural repairs, conservation work, and other initiatives related to the church’s fabric[1][2][4].
Structure and Governance
The charity is managed by a committee of local volunteers and trustees, who organize fundraising activities and oversee financial allocations[2][3]. It operates as a distinct entity under the umbrella of the Kingston Seymour Community Church, with governance adhering to UK charity regulations[3].
Fundraising Activities
The Friends host social and community-driven events throughout the year to engage residents and secure donations[2]. These efforts aim to address ongoing conservation needs for the historic church building, which may include repairs to roofs, masonry, or interior furnishings[1][4].
Membership Tiers
While specific membership details for the Kingston Seymour chapter are not publicly documented, similar "Friends of All Saints" groups elsewhere structure support through tiered systems. These often include regular donors ("Benefactors") and legacy contributors ("Legacy Fellowship"), though the Kingston Seymour group’s exact model may vary[5].
Community Role
The organisation emphasises community participation, reflecting Kingston Seymour’s commitment to preserving its ecclesiastical heritage[2][4]. Its activities strengthen local ties while ensuring the church remains functional and accessible for worship and cultural purposes[1].

Home About Become a Friend Gallery News Events History Contact More Friends of All Saints Church Earls Barton Northamptonshire For over a thousand years the Saxon Tower has stood on top of its hill overlooking the village of Earls Barton. It is the most complete example of a late Saxon church tower in the country. It stands 19m tall up to the later battlements supported on foundations of rubble only 20 to 30 cm thick. Over the centuries the people of Earls Barton have added to the Saxon Tower to adapt the building to their needs creating the Church of All Saints which we see today.
