We provide training in water safety awareness, surf rescue, first aid & resuscitation. Surf Life Saving.Instruction and teaching of local young people in the activities of life-saving in the open sea. Volunteers use various types of equipment to do this this activity with an emphasis on physical fitness. Competitions are also held with other surf life-savings club around west Wales. In the winter time the activities move from the beach to local indoor swimming pool.

Newport Surf Lifesaving Club Welcome to Newport Surf Lifesaving Club NSLSC Croeso i Glwb Achub Bywyd Arfordir Trefdraeth First established officially in 1970 Newport Surf Lifesaving Club NSLSC was set up to provide training and education in surf lifesaving skills to members of our community. We are a familyfriendly club based in Newport Pembrokeshire with around 80 members. Our aim is to provide a sociable way of getting together to keep fit and have fun in the water whilst learning valuable new lifeskills including water safety awareness first aid and resuscitation. We have a small team of volunteers who help to run the club and coach our members.
