Brains Matter supports adults living with the effects of brain injury, their carers and loved ones. Brains Matter works throughout West Kent. It supports people who have sustained an acquired brain injury and their families and carers. It offers a day service and community support providing social rehabilitation and respite for people aged 18 years and over, who have moderate to severe brain injury.

Brains Matter Living well with brain injury Home What is Brain Injury About Us What We Do Support Us Contact Shop More Our charity supports adults who have been affected by brain injury either as a result of an accident or illness such as a stroke brain tumour or haemorrhage. We have a centre in Tunbridge Wells and offer support in the community through our Community Wellbeing Support Wellbeing Support Groups and a Programme of Activities. Acquired brain injury ABI is the largest cause of acquired disability in the working age population. It is estimated that 8000 people across West Kent have an acquired brain injury.
