Established 1971 NOTTINGHAM BANGLADESH CENTRE About Us The Nottingham Bangladesh Centre is the working name of the Bangladesh Welfare and Cultural Association of Nottingham. We take a collaborative working philosophy and are always seeking to work with local Bangladeshi organisations and other likeminded organisations to promote activities of interest to the local community. Nottingham Bangla School Nottingham Bangladesh Centre operated the Nottingham Bangla School from 1982 in a number of venues including Bentick Primary School John Carrol Leisure Centre and Bangladesh House on Radford road with over 100 pupils taking GCSE Bengali with a large number of Grade A and A. This included one Bangladesh Centre Pupil achieving the highest mark in the UK.
