Welcome to Axminster Hospital League of Friends The League of Friends helps to raise funds to purchase items or support services which would benefit the Health and wellbeing of the people of Axminster and the surrounding area. The League has invested over 100000 towards ophthalmology and Xray facilities in Axminster Hospital but has also supported other local charities offering befriending services food banks and mental health services. Our aim for 2025 is to introduce Axminster Hospice at Home a service which will provide dedicated palliative care for any patient registered at Axminster Medical Practice who had been diagnosed with less than 12 months to live.
