Following a significant change in 2015, when the previous Committee resigned after many years of service, a new Management Committee composed mostly of local residents was established to guide the centre into its next phase. Several members of this Committee serve as Trustees. Since then, the centre has undergone various improvements and renovations to enhance its facilities and community offerings.

As of 2022, Sue has been serving as the Chairman of the charity. She succeeded Philippa and previously served as Secretary, bringing energy and effective leadership to the organisation.

Facilities and Features

The Community Centre @ Studley Green includes a large Main Hall measuring 15 metres by 8 metres, providing 122 square metres of space with a ceiling height of at least 3 metres. This hall is suitable for a wide range of activities and events. The hall’s refurbishment restored its wooden floor and was re-painted to revive its condition.

Facilities provided for hirers include:

• Seating for up to 90 with upholstered chairs and additional plastic seats
• Folding tables and benches that can also serve as a small stage
• Access to a fully-equipped kitchen with a water boiler, stove, ovens, microwave, and dining utensils
• Bluetooth-enabled hi-fi sound system with multiple speakers
• Cleaning equipment for post-event tidying
• An external patio area with seating for 20 and space for large barbeques

Additional features include new toilets funded by fundraising efforts and a disabled cloakroom installed with Freemasons' support to accommodate visitors with mobility needs. The building exterior has been enhanced with cladding and new windows to ensure weatherproofing and warmth.

Environmental Initiatives

The centre demonstrates commitment to environmental sustainability by using a 9-kilowatt solar panel system installed on the roof, which powers the water heater to provide hot water free of charge on sunny days.
