Welcome to The East Anglian Traditional Music Trust - East Anglian Traditional Music Trust

The EATMT is a registered charity based in Suffolk, which aims to promote awareness of and participation in the folk music traditions of East Anglia. The charity's main object is to advance education in the traditional folk music of East Anglia and other areas, including folk songs, tunes, dances, customs and traditions. In order to achieve this the trust organises workshops, classes, concerts, lectures, exhibitions, community and schools projects, carries out research and archiving work and publishes resources.

Latest News We are excited to announce two new trustees who joined the Trust in January Chris Holderness and Becky Marshall Potter both of whom have been longstanding supporters of the trust. Chris has a deeprooted passion for the traditional music of East Anglia a connection that spans several decades. He has been a regular performer particularly with RigaJigJig.
