The principal objectives and activities of the Charity include the relief of needs of children who are deaf or have hearing impairment, in particular those who have or are considering cochlear implants and their families by the provision of advice, support and sponsoring research projects and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare.

Welcome to the Cochlear Implanted Childrens Support Group website We offer firsthand experience of the difference that cochlear implantation can make to the lives of deaf children and their families. We can help with issues that surround life with an implanted child to provide a vital part of the pre and post implantation process support for families by families. We have over 1600 families in our database and can match families by individual circumstances such as their childs cause of deafness method of communication additional needs etc. Theres a great deal of information on the internet about cochlear implants.
