u3a Whitley Bay Welcome to Whitley Bay u3a St. Marys Lighthouse Whitley Bay Whitley Bay u3a provides its members with a wide range of skill learning and friendship opportunities which in turn maintains mental and physical fitness key to staying happy and healthy in later life. Formed in 1998 and now with over 450 members Whitley Bay u3a is part of a large international organisation which in the UK has over 1000 branches and 400000 members. Membership is open to anyone no longer in fulltime work irrespective of age or ability.
