BALA CHILDREN'S CENTRE KENYA
Bala Children's Centre
The charity engages in 2 activities: 1) raising funds within the UK and 2) creating businesses in Western Kenya that will allow the Children?s Centre to become sustainable for its day-to-day running costs. The centre cares for around 300 orphans and needy children, providing primary and secondary education. The children live on site or with extended local family groups and are fed and cared for.

Welcome to Bala Childrens Centre We are a small UKbased charity that raises money in the UK exclusively for the Bala Childrens Centre in South West Kenya Giving Opportunity where there is none. Bala Childrens Centre is an orphanage primary school and secondary school in Homa Bay New District. Originally started for the children of Aids victims the centre supports around 300 children many of whom are still orphans and all of whom come from very poor families. By educating the children to an excellent standard and accommodating those without homes we aim to provide opportunity where there is little or none.
