Dorchester Trust for Counselling and Psychotherapy Dorchester Trust for Counselling and Psychotherapy We believe that everyone needing counselling or psychotherapy should be able to access help regardless of their financial situation. Since 2005 we have provided longterm lowcost therapy to people living in Dorchester and the surrounding areas who are unable to afford private treatment costs for which can range from 3560 for a weekly session. We have now changed the way in which we address that need and rather than providing a direct low fee service we are now enabling lowcost treatment via counsellors and psychotherapists who meet certain criteria and are committed to helping those otherwise unable to access longer term work. We fund up to a year of weekly counselling sessions and clients pay what they can realistically afford usually starting from just 15 per session.
