HYF-UK works to improve the education, health and living conditions for children between the ages of 6 and 25 living in the Himalayan Region, and supports the Kailash Hostel run by the Himalayan Childrens Foundation in Nepal, and the Choki Traditional Arts School in Bhutan.The charity seeks to identify financial sponsors for individual children and to raise funds for specific projects.

Transforming the lives of poor and disadvantaged children from the Himalayan region HYF UK helps to provide education training and care to disadvantaged children in Nepal and Bhutan. In Kathmandu we are responsible for 103 children at Kailash Home whilst older students are supported in higher education and various vocational training schemes. In Bhutan we provide funds and make better provision for girls at The Choki Traditional Arts School CTAS which has 150 children enrolled at present. HYF UK is currently enhancing students study programmes by improving the quality of the education and training provided in addition to expanding extracurricular and vocational activities.
