Shape Africa – Supporting Health for Africa Project (SHAPE) is a small charity run by volunteers. Our aim is to help people in Africa gain access to good primary health care
Eastern Uganda: Fundraising for a Health Centre in Busamaga was completed in 2014/15. Construction commenced in Sept 2015. Building work was completed in Nov 2015 and the health centre was formally opened in December 2015. Financial support with staff salary costs, running costs and drugs/equipment has continued since the opening and is ongoing in 2021/22.

SHAPE Shape Africa In Africa many people die from diseases that are simply easily and cheaply preventable or treatable malaria diarrhoea respiratory infections and malnutrition. In areas with Malaria the use of mosquito bednets and administration of highdose vitamin A can halve the death rate of children under 5. Since 2010 we have provided communities in eastern Uganda with a total of 2300 mosquito nets and funded the drugs and vitamin A for mobile clinics. We have funded the construction of a Health Centre in the village of Busamaga.
