The Home Of Wheelchair Sports In Leeds SpiderY runs wheelchair basketball and other disability sports in Leeds and enables disabled young people with their friends and relatives to enjoy and to benefit from involvement in appropriate sports. SpiderY exists to promote in Yorkshire opportunities for people with disabilities to enjoy participating in sport locally nationally and internationally. Our wheelchair basketball team Leeds Spiders based at Morley Leisure Centre Leeds has had tremendous success over the last 15 years and has helped people with disabilities in the city participate in the sport with some of our players representing Team GB in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2021 at the Paralympic games in wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby. In total more than twenty of our grassroots players have gone on to represent their country in disability sport.
