Friends of Romsey Abbey
The Charity exists to advance Christian religion in particular but not exclusively by assisting and supporting the Abbey Church of Saint Mary and Saint Ethelflaeda, Romsey, Hampshire (The Abbey), and support the Abbey?s charitable purposes. In order to pursue these objects, it organises a range of events including coffee mornings, outings, talks and other social occasions.

The Friends is a registered Charity No. 1134191 which aims through social contact and fun events as well as fund raising and annual subscriptions to support the Abbey by meeting its aims Publicise the Abbey effectivelyDraw more people to the AbbeyEnhance the Abbey experience for allEducate people of all ages The funds we raise are utilised to contribute towards physical improvements to the Abbey which can fulfil all those aims. Some of these funds are raised by a series of trips and events the programme for which varies from year to year.
