The Bristol Phoenix Choir, founded in 1963, is a friendly choir of about 60 members. To find out mor Study and practice of choral music to foster public knowledge and appreciation of music by means of public performance. To advance, improve, develop and maintain education in the art and science of music as the trustees see fit.To further such charitable purpose or purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit but in particular through the making of grants and donations.

BRISTOL PHOENIX CHOIR Bristol Bristol Phoenix Choir is a friendly amateur choir which focuses mostly on the classical repertoire as well as dipping into contemporary composers such as Anna Lapwood and Jonathan Dove and even operatic choruses on occasion. The choir has a long history and has been engaging audiences with high quality performances since 1963. We are an auditioned choir of about 70 voices soprano alto tenor and bass who enjoy and work hard at our weekly rehearsals leading to at least three concerts a year in a variety of venues across Bristol. We like to participate in the musical life of Bristol occasionally joining with other choirs for major performances.
