We manage 650 acres of Sussex woodland for all to enjoy, free of charge Our mission is to secure and share the legacy of influential wild gardener William Robinson (1838-1935) with the public through Gravetye Estate, Sussex. Our vision is to improve biodiversity and to develop a Climate Change and disease resilient woodland landscape through exemplary stewardship and experimentation. We will help people to learn from nature through William Robinson's teachings.

Visit Us Gravetye Estate home to naturalistic gardener William Robinson 18851935 is an enchanting place to walk all year round. The Charity offers free parking and access to over 600 acres of undulating woods and farmland via a network of wellmarked trails. The shortest trail 2. 5 kms starts from the public parking layby before the hotel entrance gates and is a wonderful circular walk including views of Lower Lake.
