Tabitha’s Toys
During our first 12 months of operation from April 2010 we raised -+?17,787which we used to help the families of 16 children.Our objective is the relief of sickness, the preservation and protection of health of disabled children with special and complex needs living in the North-East of England by loaning on a long term basis specialist toys, equipment and sensory aids.

Tabithas Toys Charity Tabithas Toys Charity was set up in memory of Tabitha LeesMoore a very special little girl from Weardale in County Durham who was born with a rare condition called Edwards Syndrome. Many parents and carers cannot take their children to sensory rooms in sports centres or schools as the children are often too poorly transport maybe a problem and some children may need the equipment at special times that suit them like three oclock in the morning as many have poor sleep patterns. Therefore it is essential that these children have this equipment at home.
