metaplay About MetaPlay Participative Theatre Arts and Media was set up to advance theatre and the associated arts in and with communities. Since its inception in 2005 MetaPlays aim has been to create projects that bring people together through their exploration of art and art forms and to develop ways for people to explore new sets of relationships together with an underlying ethos of facilitating play as a restorative relational facility than enhances our lives. Now in our 15th year we have worked in a variety of ways from developing sitespecific performances to running weekly drama clubs with children and old age pensioners. We have collaborated with artists filmmakers actors and facilitators who have lent us their skill and expertise.
