The Church provides Worship according to the doctrine and litergy of the Church of England, Occasionally Offices (Weddings & Funerals etc) and Christian education and pastoral care to the residents of the Parish.

Home About us Whats on Faith Young People Schools Contact This March join us at St Johns Church as we host Bible Encounter Trusts Easter Story Trail The story unfolds in a wholly engaging way as you will be led by our Storyteller through successive scenes of the Easter events. From the moment you enter the Trail you will be fully immersed in the setting and the story so that as the Trail concludes you will feel as if you have been eyewitnesses to the remarkable events of the first Easter. Situated in our church each presentation lasts around an hour and includes the telling of the Easter Story from the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday through the sadness of the Crucifixion on Good Friday to the exhilarating account of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday discovering what happened to Jesus during the last few days of Holy Week. The story is brought to life by sympathetic storytelling audience involvement and lifesize artifacts.
