Book Relief UK Literacy is the road to human progress and means through which every man woman and child can realize his or her potential. Kofi Annan Who we are and what we do Book Relief UK is a literacy charity that started life as a community group in Bideford North Devon in October 2006 and became a registred charity in March 2010. Our founder Barry Evetts sadly passed away in 2015. He was for many years the driving force behind our charity alongside his friends the Rev John Carvosso and Jeremy Bell who are still part of our team.
