Extra Cover is a charity that helps some of Sri Lanka’s poorest school children grow up with hope. Our objectives are to help some of Sri Lanka's poorest children and their families, young adults and those with disabilities. These are carried out through a) the provision of food, clean water, uniforms, shoes and stationery b) the building and renovation of houses, classrooms and playgrounds c) the creation of tea and cinnamon cooperatives. All funded either directly or by offering grants.

Help Sri Lankas Poorest School Children Grow Up With Hope The mission of Extra Cover is to help some of Sri Lankas poorest school children grow up with hope. It provides basic essentials from food and clean water to toilets and textbooks to twenty four extremely remote village schools in the southern rainforest area. As funds allow it also builds extra classrooms installs playground equipment runs tea and cinnamongrowing cooperatives and oversees vocational schools. Compared with the playground equipment at Ganegama School see the other story that at Wattogala is in a frightful state.
