Home - Mersey Gateway Environmental Trust
The MGET has been set up to monitor and manage the environmental disciplines associated with the Mersey Gateway Project. The Trust vision is to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Upper Mersey Estuary and related areas. This includes the ability for the Trust to bid for additional resources.

We provide innovative environmental management within the Upper Mersey Estuary and surrounding natural green spaces protecting and improving this special area for the benefit of wildlife and people. Our vision MGET offers a new approach to the Upper Mersey Estuary with innovative ecological management for people and wildlife to enjoy this special landscape for generations to come. Our work Our work is mainly based around the Upper Mersey Estuary a tidal environment which has a rich industrial legacy but also wonderful habitats that benefit from our protection and conservation.
