To relieve emotional distress through providing low cost, self-referred counselling to adults on low income, young people & children who, through lack of means would otherwise be unable to access such support. Based in South Manchester. Clients self refer via 24hour answerphone. 35 voluntary counsellors offer sessions 7 days per week. Appointment only.

Face to Face Counselling is an independent nonprofitmaking organisation run by volunteers. It is geared towards clients aged 18 and over on no income or low income up to 25000 per annum resident in the Greater Manchester area and registered with a GP based in a Greater Manchester metropolitan district or borough i. e Manchester Trafford Oldham Rochdale Bury Wigan Tameside Salford Stockport or Bolton. Clients contribute 5 20 per session based on a sliding fee scale.
