Ergavo Mental Health Hospital in Somaliland The recently constructed Ergavo Mental Health Hospital stands as a beacon of hope for countless individuals and families in Somaliland. This vital facility was built with the generous contributions of local businessmen who recognized the urgent need for a dedicated mental health care center in our community. Mental health issues have been on the rise largely attributed to the misuse of khat a substance commonly used among the local population. In the past individuals with mental health challenges faced stigma and neglect often being chained or locked in front of their homes due to the lack of appropriate care facilities.
