SSBB
SSBB seeks to advance the education of young people of Stockport and Greater Manchester in the pursuit of music making through its organisation, support, training and provision of music facilities. SSBB continues to advance the education of the general public in the art of brass band music through continuing to perform in public in many different venues including theatres, churches and schools.

Welcome to Stockport Schools39 Brass Band Supported by Purpose Stockport Schools39 Brass Band SSBB are an independent charity group Charity Number 1143051 run by volunteers and are the Youth Brass ensemble provision for Stockport. We work alongside Stockport Music Service to provide children aged 6 to 18 years the opportunity to learn to play a brass instrument and perform in a brass band. We currently have 7 groups within the organisation. Beginners 1 For those in years 123 who have never played a brass instrument the pCornet or pBone is a great and fun way to start.
