City of Canterbury Swimming Club Welcome The City of Canterbury Swimming Club CCSC has a rich history dating back to 1877 with initial training sessions held at an openair pool located in what is now Toddlers Cove. After nearly a century the club was reformed in 1970 and eventually moved to the Kingsmead Leisure Centre in 1973. At CCSC we are passionate about swimming and dedicated to helping swimmers of all ages and abilities reach their full potential. Based in the heart of Canterbury our club provides a supportive and friendly environment where members can develop their skills compete at various levels and enjoy the benefits of an active and social sporting community.
