Chalfont St Peter Community Library In April 2011 Buckinghamshire County Council Cabinet decided to close the county library that existed in Chalfont St Peter and replace it with a county community partnership model of library delivery. With the support of the CSP Parish Council and a generous sponsorship from Fairweather Insurance a group of local residents formed a charity called The Chalfont St Peter Community Library was opened on 3rd January 2012 to ensure that we could retain this valuable resource for our village. We have a huge 11000 books across our popular childrens section young adult and adult book lending sections. Read more.
