Maryvale Community Project
The Charity provides lunch clubs and activities for the elderly and adults with disabilities. It provides a telephone befriending service for the housebound and lonely. Its overall aim is to nurture social cohesion and community building regardless of religious affiliation or social status. Services are delivered at Maryvale Community Centre, Old Oscott Hill, Birmingham B44 9SR.

Maryvale Community Project Menu The Maryvale Community Project provides services to meet the needs of older people and adults with learning disabilities. It became clear that in Kingstanding Great Barr and the Pheasey Estate elderly people living alone and adults with learning disabilities were the two main groups who would value support. Our services were designed to meet these needs including use of the Maryvale Community Centre which the parish prepared and refurbished to serve the wider community. Our services are a weekly lunch club home visiting service telephone befriending service and Sunshine Club for adults with learning disabilities.
