The mentoring programme was an invaluable help as a student coming from an architecture background looking to transition into real estate finance. It gave me important insight and a direct connection to the professional world and was key for my transition into real estate. Cambridge would not have been the same for me without the mentorship programme and I have since made it a point to always meet with students who contact me seeking advice to transition into a new role of field. Through mentoring students approaching a notoriously challenging job market through the strategic advice to the Department of Land Economy that helps to ensure their priorities remain those of the real world and most of all through the generous financial support that CLEAB has given to and facilitated on behalf of the Department the Board is making a significant contribution to the subject and to the University as a whole.
