Shelley Community Association The Community Association Registered Charity No. 1149146 was officially formed on 20th September 1976see here for more details Initially the Association had to devote itself completely to running the Village Hall which proved no small task and the volunteer committees time was fully occupied with fundraising. It was essential to raise money for the improvements that were needed and to pay the rent to the Parish Council. Gradually the improvements were done and the Hall began to become self supporting from the lettings to the various groups and to individuals who hired the Hall.
