Conserving Bredhurst Woods for People Trees and Wildlife About Bredhurst Woodland Action Group Bredhurst Woods is an area of 600 acres of ancient woodland surrounded by chalk grassland. It is situated on the North Downs six miles north of Maidstone. It is one of the largest woods in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty AONB. The woods have been cared for by local people for hundreds of years.
