National Forum for Biological Recording A unique perspective An independent voice Home Biological Recording Local To National Virtual Symposium The NFBR in partnership with the Biological Recording Company are holding anonline symposium on Fri 16th May 2025 1000 1300 BSTexploring how biological recording is undertaken at varied geographic scales from sitebased recording informing the ongoing management of a site to national surveillance schemes that inform government policy and legislation. Monitoring biodiversity is vital for making evidencebased decisions when it comes to our impact on nature be that conservation planning decisions or implementing guidance and best practice. Biological recorders citizen scientists conservationists and biodiversitysector professionals are all invited to join us for a celebration of the importance of recording wildlife. Speaker Programme This event will feature four presentations each focusing on the relevance of biological recording at a different geographic scale in addition to QA sessions with each speaker The presentations will be recorded and shared with those who booked alongside QA transcripts and lists of useful links via a passwordprotected website following the event.
