OAKS MARTIAL ARTS At Oaks Martial Arts we believe that Taekwondo is a dynamic and progressive martial art and our organisation reflects this both in our teaching style and our ethos. Taekwondo is a modern Korean martial art developed by General Choi and recognised in 1955 is based on explosive kicks and punches which are controlled through the understanding of the Tenets of Taekwondo Courtesy Integrity Perseverance SelfControl and Indomitable Spirit. We are an official ITF club and are members of ITF England. Our classes are for everyone from 212 years old upwards and our experienced and dedicated instructors teach the art though structured focused lessons aimed at setting individual goals and helping you to achieve them whatever those goals may be.
