Yate and Sodbury district U3A is an organisation which provides life-enhancing and life-changing opportunities. Retired and semi-retired come together and learn together not for qualifications but for its own reward: the sheer delight of discovery. Members share their skills and experiences, the learners teach and teachers learn and there is no distinction between them.

u3a Yate Sodbury District Registered Charity Number 1150627 Welcome to Yate Sodbury District U3A. We are a vibrant active u3a which was founded in 2005 and from small beginnings now has over 1400 members. The u3a is a UKwide movement which brings together people who are no longer in fulltime employment to develop their interests and continue their learning in a friendly and informal environment. Formed over 35 years ago there are now over 1050 local u3a organisations across the UK with thousands of interest groups between them and more than 450000 members nationally plus were growing every day.
