Buddhmetta UK
The charity arranges Buddhist pilgrimages primarily to Thailand but also elsewhere timed to coincide with the Far East cool season in January. We are led by Theravada Thai Forest Tradition monks, living in a simple way and sharing in the generosity we encounter as we visit and stay in many important sites to experience them and listen to Dhamma teachings.

BuddhaMetta UK About the Society The Buddha Metta Societywas formed by Buddhists in the UK in 2009. It was set up by individuals who have a connection with Ajahn Sudhiro and the Thai forest tradition of Theravada Buddhism and has members including both ordained and lay people. Our aim is to develop and share the practice of 39Living in Dhamma39 by providing opportunities for people to experience it firsthand. The society aims to support Luangpoh Sudhiro39s work and donates towards this through individual contributions and arranging pilgrimages see below.
