Welcome to Poole Africa Link Who we are Poole Africa Link is a charity that sends highly skilled doctors nurses and midwives to Lira Uganda twice a year to further the education of other healthcare professionals in the hospital and two schools of nursing. A Brief History Poole Africa Link wasestablished in 2009 when a link was set up between Poole Hospital and Wau Hospital in South Sudan. Twelve successful visits followed with healthcare professionals visiting for 23 weeks. During this time we trained doctors nurses and midwives in the hospital and two nursing schools.
