The Lounge Community Cafe & Youth Venue
The Lounge is an innovative venture, combining a community focused cafe by day with youth sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Activities are aimed at the 10-13 age group and develop independence and self confidence. Sessions include 2 youth diner groups and a drop in youth club in the evening. There are targeted activity sessions teaching new skills, craft sessions, health and well being plus games and outdoor activities.Activities for those over age 65 are aimed at reducing isolation through a weekly friendship group.

The Lounge Community Cafe Youth Venue Welcome to The Lounge Community Cafe The Lounge is a charity owned Community Cafe in the heart of Alvechurch Worcestershire. The space is cosy and welcoming serving local coffee and food which is freshly cooked on site everyone is friendly its alovely place just to sit relax and enjoy some company. As well as the cafe we offer a programme of community events designed to increase social cohesiveness reduce isolation and loneliness whilst improving the health and happiness of the community. Weekly there are clubs forall generations young and old and in holiday periods off site activities are organised.
