Our U3A is a self-help educational movement for older people no longer in full-time work. We have a programme of monthly meetings with a speaker , planned a year in advance to give a range and balance of topics. We have 39 self sufficient Interest Groups where members pursue learning for enjoyment over a wide spectrum of themes. We publish a 3 page newsletter monthly to keep members informed

Wanstead Woodford u3a is part of the UK wide Third Age Trust which has over 1000 self governing branches around the country. We are also part of the London Region of u3a. u3a is an excellent place to meet new friends learn new skills develop interests and have fun. We have more than 500 members with new ones joining every month.
