Southport Orchestra – the home of classical music in Southport
The orchestra was formed about 1950 , generally playing three concerts a year in local venues. We are a group of enthusiastic and friendly musicians getting together once a week to rehearse for a series of concerts throughout the concert season. Performance of classical music, presenting three concerts for the public each year.Sponsorship of music tuition for children in a local school.
