About We rescue from Durham to Dorset caring for sick injured distressed and orphaned wildlife including feral cats. History Hezzie James started taking care of wild animals in the mid 70s after her father brought her a swift to care for. In 1980 she opened the first wildlife hospitals in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire under the name Wildlife in Need. In 2014 Wildlife in Need became a registered charity and five years later Hezzie turned her family home into a wildlife hospital and safe haven for wild animals in Clowne Derbyshire.
