The objects of Baroque Week are:(1) the promotion and performance of baroque chamber music;(2) to promote education in baroque music(3) the organization and management of ?Baroque Week?, an annual baroque chamber music week;(4) to endeavour to offer bursaries for participation in its activities.

Firmly established as one of Europes foremost early music courses BAROQUE WEEK is now celebrating its 47th year. The course offers inspiration and guidance to both singers and players of baroque music from an expert team of leading specialists in historical performance. The theme for 2025 is Visiting Vienna Exploring Music at the Habsburg Court. We will feature repertoire by 17th and 18th century Italian composers based in Vienna such as Bertali and Caldara as well as by Monteverdi who dedicated two of his greatest publications to the Habsburgs by native Austrian composers Schmelzer and Fux and by the German composer Hasse who spent many years in Vienna between 1760 and 1773.
