STAR International was founded by three friends in 2012 after many years of international volunteer service. While there are countless areas in need of assistance our hearts lie with the children and young adults of Romania especially those with special needs living in orphanages group homes or underprivileged communities. The quality of life of many of these individuals could be improved greatly with increased exposure to therapy and medical services. STAR International advocates not only for the importance of therapeutic interventions but also for the rights of these children and young adults to receive them.
