Member of the UK Men039s Sheds Association Home Hayling Island Mens Shed Hayling Island Mens Shed is not really just a shed its a huge barnlike structure full of tools and machinery. It was built by a team of dedicated men over four years particularly for the health and wellbeing of retired men who are perhaps struggling a little with the change from a structured working life. The shed is most definitely a Hayling Island shed erected in the South Hayling United Reformed Church grounds in Mengham the main town on Hayling Island and a short stroll from the sea. Started in 2016 and completed at the beginning of 2020 the Shed has a lounge area where members known as Shedders can relax over a cup of tea and socialise play cards read use the Sheds computers and access the internet.
